The G-BOXX-2
is shiftable 7 speed gearbox designed for todays Freeride and Downhill Mountain bikes. These "Gearboxx-Bikes" or also called "Internal Transmission-Bikes" have a the transmission mounted inside the main frame of the bicycle. The classic bottom bracket housing is replaced by the integrated transmission G-BOXX-2. Similar to conventional gear change mechanisms, a chain or belt drive system is used to provide power to the rear wheel. In this case, the chain (or belt drive) does not have any shifting duties. All the general advantages of this system and the specific way to connect the G-Boxx to the bicycle frame are described on › www.g-boxx.org. |
